Types of roles available

Infant teachers

Our Infant classes (ages 3 months – 3 years) are attended with a caregiver and focus on building water confidence, independence, and physical development. We want instructors who love the water, are energetic, passionate about teaching water safety, and enjoy working with babies and toddlers.

Preschool & school age teachers

Our Preschool (3–5 years) and School-Age (5+) classes range from complete beginners to confident swimmers. We’re looking for instructors with a love for the water, plenty of energy, a positive attitude, and an understanding of how important swimming is in New Zealand.

Stroke instructors

Our Stroke Programme teaches swimmers (25m–400m+) all four strokes: butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and freestyle. Ideal instructors have a competitive swimming background and strong technical knowledge.

Front of House

Our Front of House team is the welcoming face of Hilton Brown Swimming. This out-of-water role includes greeting customers, answering calls and emails, assisting with bookings, and general admin. Please include a cover letter when applying.
